Welcome to Leafling.com! My name is Andrew and I’m the guy who got real sick of traveling for work, so I started working for travel. Why? Well if you’ve traveled at all lately, you’ve probably realized how much fun it can be. Not. So I decided to do something about it and this is what we’ve come up with.

Of course this site isn’t just for airline travelers. For train, bus, and car travelers, this is for you too. Whether you’re twiddling your thumbs in the waiting room, about to hit the sack, lounging at the beach, pulling a Costanza in Brentano’s, or just plain bored, this can be for you too.

With this blog, we’ll communicate updates we make while shelling out some of life’s hard-earned lessons. We have a grand vision in mind as this is only our first phase for the site, so check back with us every so often. Oh, and remember to RECYCLE when you’re finished.

Airline travel tip of the day: The Cheapest Upgrade to First Class Ever

Dress like you belong in first class and plan on eating at the airport. Order the most aromatic but delicious meal from the airport’s best restaurant and ask for it in two boxes (or buy two). Board early and eat on the plane. 10 out of 10 times a flight attendant will comment on it (customer service is their job and 7 out of 10 will have eaten at the restaurant so they trust the food though maybe not you). At this point mention how the restaurant accidentally made two and gave it to you for free. Offer one to the flight attendant and suggest dining together in business or first class after takeoff. Let me tell ya, 5 out of 10 times, it works 10 out of 10 times.
